Before installation, make sure You know what type of diagram You need to use. First of all check Your SCPH number – label located on bottom case of Your console. Than get inside the console and check PU number on Playstation PCB mainboard [see photos below].
Now, when You already know what PU number You have please chose wiring diagram from the list below.
PU-7
- SCPH-1000 (all models);
- SCPH-1001; SCPH-1002 (some early models);
- SCPH-3000; SCPH-3500 (some early models);
- Leg number 2 from the chip, don’t have to be soldered anywhere. Leave it as it is.

PU-8
- SCPH-1001; SCPH-1002 (most of the models);
- SCPH-3000; SCPH-3005 (most of the models);
- SCPH-5000 (all models);
- Leg number 2 from the chip, don’t have to be soldered anywhere. Leave it as it is.

PU-16
- SCPH-5903;
- At the moment no diagram for this model.
PU-18
- SCPH-5001 (all models);
- SCPH-5500; SCPH-5501; SCPH-5502; SCPH-5503 (all models);
- SCPH-5552 (all models);
